By using Lunaflow you agree to these terms. We've tried to keep them short, plain, and free of trapdoors. If a clause confuses you, write to us — we'll explain it, and probably re-write it.
§ 01Who we are
“Lunaflow” means Lunaflow Pty Ltd (registration 2025/348190/07), a company registered in South Africa with its registered office at 14 Bree Street, Cape Town 8001. “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to Lunaflow. “You” and “your” refer to anyone using the Lunaflow desktop app, browser extension, or web app (together, the Service).
§ 02The agreement
Creating an account, installing the desktop app, or installing the extension forms a binding agreement between you and Lunaflow on these terms together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
§ 03Your account
You must be at least 16 years old. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us within 48 hours of suspecting any unauthorised access at security@lunaflow.app.
One human, one account. You may install Lunaflow on as many of your own devices as your plan allows.
§ 04Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to surveil another person without their informed, written consent
- Reverse-engineer the capture daemon to defeat its consent prompts
- Resell, sublicense, or relabel the Service
- Probe, scan, or load-test our infrastructure without written permission
- Use the Service in violation of any law that applies to you
Lunaflow is for self-observation. Using it to monitor employees or family members without their consent is a serious breach of these terms and grounds for immediate termination.
§ 05Subscriptions, billing & price changes
Free is free, forever, with the limits described on the pricing page. Paid plans renew monthly or annually until you cancel. Billing is handled by Stripe; you authorise us to charge the payment method you provide.
If we raise the price of your plan, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change. The increase only applies on your next renewal — if you cancel before then, you pay the old price for the rest of your current term. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
§ 06Your content
Your timeline, derivations, goals, and notes are yours. We claim no ownership over them. By using the Service you grant us a narrow licence to host, process, and display them solely so we can render your readout to you.
If you cancel, you keep that licence-back; we keep nothing.
§ 07Our intellectual property
The Lunaflow name, mark, software, designs, and underlying analytical methods are owned by Lunaflow Pty Ltd and licensed to you for personal use under your subscription. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership.
§ 08Warranties & what we don't promise
We work hard to keep Lunaflow accurate and up. But the Service is provided as-is, without warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. The readouts are interpretations of statistical signals — they are not medical, psychiatric, or HR advice, and shouldn't be used as such.
This clause does not limit any warranty you have under non-excludable consumer protection law.
§ 09Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Lunaflow's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period (and zero if you're on Free). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
§ 10Termination
You may terminate at any time from Settings → Cancel account, by email, or by simply uninstalling. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or use Lunaflow to surveil another person without consent. We will tell you why, in writing, and give you 14 days to export your record before deletion.
§ 11Disputes & governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We'd much rather solve disagreements by email than by lawyers — write to legal@lunaflow.app first. If that fails, the Cape Town High Court has exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you a closer forum.
§ 12Changes
We may revise these terms. Material changes are emailed to all account holders 14 days before they take effect; minor edits (typos, broken links, clarifications) are quietly logged in our internal change history.
If a future version of these terms is materially worse for you, your old terms continue until your next renewal — so you always have a real choice between agreeing or leaving.
